On 1. june 1991 the habour of Wismar was privatized and given back in the hands of the city. This handing over was the beginning of a success story for the industrial developement of the whole city. The habour was the leading part - reason enough to celebrate this event every year in june with the Habour days.

Now for the 17th time the habour will be visited by thousands of guests during this event. Music stages, big wheel and carousels, funfair, maufactures and artistic workers care for varied days at the pier border. Traditional saylors like the shooner "Atlanta" and the remake of the Poeler cog "Wissamara" invite to relaxed trip in the Wismar bay.

The absolutely highlight during these 3 great days will be the saturday, when in the evening around 23:00 o'clock will be an impressing fireworks in the setting of the habour.
