The International Folklorefestival of the CIOFF changes now for the 10th time streets and places into meeting points between cultures and audience full of high spirits and vitality. Sweeping dances, strange music and shot coloured costumes wait for vistors in the streets and place of the market, at the old habour and in the theatre of Wismar.

Ca. 250 dancers and musicians of international folkloreensambles of the CIOFF-sections in America, Europe and Asia as well as 400 members of dance-, costumes- andstreet musicians, orchestras, music associations, fanfare- and marching bands, street musicians, sport- and artist groups from the federal states from Germany meet for the 10th Folklorefestival in Wismar.

To the highlight belong again the 3 gala performances as well as the great festival procession of all festival participants on saturday, 25th july from 10 till 12 o'clock.
